What’s for Dinner

Lookin’ for delicious home-cooked mountain food to warm you up inside out? Then you’ve come to the right place! Enjoy a mining camp meal on tin plates and drinks in our old fashion tin cups. Yessir, our food is just like the grub shared in mining camps 170 years ago, only better!

Almost everything is cooked on our wood-fired stove. In fact, from the moment you step into the dining hall you’ll be surrounded by wonderful aromas all coming from your choice of meat (or veggies for vegetarians) plus fresh tossed salad, hearty miners BBQ beans, golden corn on the cob, mashed potatoes and gravy, bread rolls, delicious hot chocolate and cider, and plenty more. Oh and don’t forget our hot apple pies with whipped cream. Our apple pie is so good that we have guests come back another year just for the pie. Don’t bother asking about the recipe, ‘cuz we won’t tell you!

We will ask you to select one of the following: thick top sirloin steak, BBQ boneless breast of chicken, rocky mountain trout or vegetarian/vegan option as your entree.
